Ouchijuku is the mountain village which just conveys the feature of the Edo era.The Edo era, the Aizu west way(It was called also Minamiyama way or Shimotsuke way) were the important ways which connected Nikko and Aizu Wakamatsu.
All roofs are thatch, and there are an inn, a souvenir shop and a restaurant.
