Autumn in NIKKO

I went to a hiking in NIKKO with my friend Andrej who comes from Slovakia,
and japanese friend on 10th of Oct.

We gathered in the Akanuma parking lot at 6:00 a.m.
The temperature was 2 degrees Celsius, very cold morning.
The reason that gathered in such early time is because
a lot of people gather for colored leaves sightseeing.
We took ODASHIROGAHARA, SENJYUGAHAMA, SAINOKO lake
for about 6 hours and enjoyed hiking.
The autumn colors of nikko began,
but the colored leaves which had begun to turn red and yellow were beautiful.
Lake Chyuzenji, view from SENJYUGAHAMA.

Jumping !

Senjogahara Plateau in NIKKO

I went to The Yukawa-River that streamed down Senjogahara Plateau on 20th of Sep. for fly fishing.
The Senjogahara Plateau is the marshland of 400ha, which is located on the altitude of 1400m.
Yukawa RIver is my most favorite river.
Length of the river is 12.4km. It starts from flow of Yutaki waterfall, which is located on the south of Lake Yunoko. Then it passes Ryuzu waterfall, and becomes river of Jigoku (Hell). Finally, it flows into the shore of Shobugahama of Lake Chuzenji. It flows the westside of Senjogahara Plateau in zigzag direction north and south.
The first fly fishing was Yukawa River in Japan.
Because it is it, Yukawa River is called the Bible of the fly fishing.
